The short version: this is a training simulator. It has no accounts, collects no personal information, shows no advertising, and runs no analytics. The only data it transmits is the make-believe training state of a simulation station — and that is never linked to any person.
The eNEOlib® Resuscitation Simulator is an educational tool for practising paediatric resuscitation teamwork. It simulates a patient monitor, an instructor console and a defibrillator trainer. It is not a medical device. It must never be used for clinical monitoring, diagnosis or treatment, and no real patient is ever connected to it in any way.
When devices pair into a training station, the app synchronises the station's simulation state — the selected rhythm, simulated vital-sign numbers, defibrillator status and shock events — between the paired devices, keyed by a random four-digit station code. This travels through Google Firebase Realtime Database hosted in Singapore (asia-southeast1) and is not connected to any person's identity. On the same computer, devices also link directly and this works fully offline. Firebase is a Google Cloud service; Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
The Android (Play Store) version offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks the defibrillator trainer and the locked rhythms. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play's billing system — this app never sees your name, card number or any payment details. After a purchase, Google Play issues an anonymous purchase token; the app sends that token to our own server (a serverless function on this site's hosting), which passes it to Google to confirm the purchase, as Google requires — retrying on later app launches until Google confirms it. Our server stores nothing and identifies no one; the token contains no personal information. The unlock belongs to your Google account, so Google Play restores it automatically on any device signed into that account. Purchases are billed by Google; refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. The website version at sim.eneolib.com has no purchases.
The app caches its own program files on your device so it can start quickly and work offline (a standard browser "service worker" cache). The Android app additionally remembers whether the unlock has been purchased (so the purchased features keep working offline) and a short list of purchase-confirmation tokens it has already reported to Google, so it does not report them again. These contain no personal information and never leave your device except to confirm the purchase with Google as described above. It stores nothing else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the browser's site data for sim.eneolib.com, removes it completely.
The app's start page loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation libraries from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Like any web request, those services receive standard connection metadata (such as your IP address) when the files are fetched. The simulator itself remains fully functional without them.
This is a professional training tool intended for clinicians, nurses and resuscitation-course participants. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
